What is your business?
I have a remote counseling and psycho-educational consulting business. I offer Individual & Group Therapy Consultations and Psycho-Educational Training through the use of Telephone and Audio-Visual Programs.
I also offer Online Chat Options.
Why did you choose this business?
I am a trained psychologist and had been in private practice for 10 years before starting this business. Primarily, I wanted a business from home since I became a Mom. I have designed and facilitated a lot of workshops and enjoy developing psycho-educational curricula and training material so thought it would fit nicely with a counseling service for those individuals that find it difficult to get to see a psychologist in the traditional office setting.
What is your favorite aspect of the business?
Getting results! I love getting mail saying thanks but most of all, I love the mail or calls I get years later saying that some of the techniques taught during our time working together are still being used and are still working!
What do you enjoy most about Arizona?
The landscapes, the open spaces, ocotillo and palo verde native trees.
