If you have a Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market near you, you may be familiar with their approach:
“At fresh&easy™, we think wholesome foods shouldn’t cost your whole paycheck. That’s why we offer a wide range of our own brand products and fresh prepared meals with no artificial colors or flavors and no added trans fats, at honest, low prices every day.”

When our family lived in the Valley, we had a Fresh & Easy shop near our home; we loved it. Since moving up North we quickly discovered there are no Fresh & Easy markets anywhere up here (not yet!).
When I was contacted a while back about giving out some coupons to my local F&E, I explained to the gal that I no longer live near their stores but I was happy to help promote them, knowing all about their offerings (I had shopped with them numerous times for meats, fruits and more).
As some of you know, I received a box full of canvas wine bags. I’ve given away numerous bags already…but still have more! Along with this post I’m giving away – YES – another wine bag

Not long ago I received another box FULL of goodies from Fresh & Easy – to sample. Here is what they shipped me:
- Ogio Prosecco Non-Vintage (wine) : $8.99
- The Vine Yard Cabernet Franc 2007 (wine) : $7.99
- Sweet Boutique Gourmet Swiss Chocolate Assortment : $7.99
- Sweet Boutique Gourmet Belgian Biscuit Collection : $7.99
- Fresh & Easy Cranberry & Nut Popcorn Clusters : $4.99
- ChocChoc Mint Thins : $1.99
My husband is the red wine drinker; I am the white. However, we both sampled each bottle and agreed that we’d purchase either one of them for various occasions. We’ve certainly had more “fancy” bottles and honestly – both of these, in our opinion, held up. For $7.99 or $8.99 – you can’t really go wrong, eh?
We are not a hard sell on chocolates – we LOVE it so yes…the chocolates were devoured quickly. The younger kids really enjoyed the thin mints. In fact, they are not that thin at all (worth the $1.99 for sure).
To be honest we didn’t open the cranberry popcorn. The tube is so pretty and the popcorn looks SO good. We decided to save that as a Christmas gift for our sitter (along with a warm pair of boots we bought from my AVON gal, Lisa). Big bow on top of the popcorn tube – perfect little gift to show our appreciation.
All in all, I would say the items from Fresh & Easy are affordable, packaged well, attractive and…they taste great. Certainly worth a trip to your local market.
Thanks Fresh & Easy
