Our Milk Money is a national online directory of self-employed parents. It is also a community resource dedicated to helping parents who want to stay at home find financial opportunities and support. Our aim is to give parents a choice and to educate consumers on the value of buying from a self-employed parent.
 
In this day and age, the average American family cannot exist on one income. Most middle-income families need two incomes to survive, so in some cases both parents continue working outside the home in an effort to meet that financial burden. As a result, they are forced to send their children to daycare, and on weekends time is spent doing household chores rather than engaging in quality family time. Other families who have chosen to keep one parent at home are forced to find ways to bring in a supplemental income IN ADDITION to raising a family. Fortunately, we are living in a superior age of technology that has created more and more opportunity for this ambition. Thanks to the internet, we have been able to create even more opportunities for ourselves as parents and as entrepreneurs. We believe that every parent should have a choice to stay home and our goal is to help publicize that concept.Our Milk Money's purpose is to help parents see that they do have a choice, and they will get the support they need in taking that next step.
 
We believe that we can accomplish this objective by empowering each other, setting a good example by purchasing only from each other, and by educating the public on the value of the goods and services being sold by self-employed Moms and Dads.

Our passion is built around a common goal to provide for our children. We envision a situation in which we are able to reinvent ourselves as parents and entrepreneurs, where we are able to adequately embrace our family values and support one another by working towards a lasting solution.

We, at Our Milk Money wish to see a vibrant change in the choices we make as consumers and to make quality time with our children a priority.
