If you're a mom and you have a job as well as an entire household to run, chances are you don't have enough time within the day to exercise. In between sending the kids to school, going to work, doing your household chores and spending time with your friends and family – you might have a ready excuse that you're simply too busy to exercise.

However, if you want to be physically fit, take care of your health and have a quick break from the grind of your daily life, then you need to make time to exercise. Here, we will take a look at the top six fat loss exercises that busy moms can do – and how they can actually make time for it.

6 Fat Loss Exercises - Targeting Different Parts of the Body

Now, whether it's baby fat or the extra inches in your stomach that you would like to lose, the good news is that there are plenty of fat loss exercises that you can do in a jiffy. They even target different problem areas in the body so you can take your pick from any of them and combine it with your regular 30, 15 or 10-minute exercise routine which constitutes a total body workout.

1. Arm Exercises

One of the most common problems that women have is flabby arms. The best way to tone up the biceps or the front part of your arms; your triceps or the back part of your arms and your shoulder muscles is to use weights while exercising. Don't worry about developing huge arms like men do because women are not just physically built that way. As such, you can work out your arms as much as you want and they will not bulk up, just get toned and lean.

Using weights, you can perform dumbbell presses, lateral raise, barbell curls or simply bend your elbows and lift your arm from your shoulder only – doing three sets each time.

2. Back Exercises

To work on your upper back, use dumbbells and while bending your body to the front, bend your elbows and lift the weights. Do three sets with eight repetitions each.

3. Buttocks Exercises

For busy moms, the best way to work on the buttocks is to do the squatting exercises. Or, you can do the active butt exercise. Simply get on your palms and knees on the floor, raise one leg back and up, keeping your knee bent – and repeat on your other leg.

4. Full Body Workout Routine

For the full body workout, you can do aerobic exercises or use a combination of the exercises which work out a particular part of your body.

5. Stomach Fat Burning Exercises

Another problem area for moms is losing the fat in their bellies – especially after having a baby. There are several exercises that you can perform here including scrunches, sit-ups as well as exercises to work on your upper abs, lower abs and love handles.

6. Thigh or Leg Fat Burning Exercises

To work on your inner thighs, lie down on your back and place your hands under your buttocks. Raise your legs straight up and try not to bend the knees. Open your legs slowly apart until you feel a mild tension, and bring it back together.

As you can see, there are plenty of exercises that super busy moms can do which they can squeeze into their tight schedules. Combine these with eating right, and you can have a lean, healthy body that will sustain you through the rigorous schedule that you have both at work and at home.

How Moms Can Squeeze Exercise into their Busy Schedules

Forget about the myths that the ideal time to exercise is in the morning, or that you need a full 30-minute workout to reap the benefits of exercising. When you're a busy working mom, you may only find a quick 15-minute break here and there. That's when you are supposed to exercise – when it's convenient for you and not only during the mornings.

Remember that a ten or fifteen-minute workout here and there is better than nothing, so you really should not be giving any excuse to skip exercising despite your busy schedule. Also, you can exercise during your playtime with kids so it does not necessarily have to be a sit-down workout session. Find time to run the treadmill while watching your favorite TV show, or even do it at night when everything around the house is quiet. If you want to know even a more shorter variation of workout, be sure to check our review of 7 minute muscle.
