About Mommy Perks

Mommy Perks is a FREE Online Savings Program for moms! We save moms money all year long online and in many local areas nationwide on all types of products and services by teaming up with family friendly businesses. We refer to these businesses as Mommy Perks Partners.

Our mission is simple: save moms money while giving businesses of all sizes a very effective and affordable advertising source. We also give moms nationwide a chance to open their own business as a Mommy Perks Representative in their local area (click here to learn more).

Our company was founded by a mom who was looking for ways to save money and needed a way to provide an income to help support her family. Lori Hornyak created Mommy Perks in 2005. After she accomplished her goal, she thought that other women would like to share her ideas, so she opened business opportunities in November, 2006.

Mommy Perks grew so quickly that it was no longer possible to be run as a “one woman show.” Lori sought a partner for the business, knowing that with two strong women running the site even more growth was possible. In late 2007, Shara Lawrence-Weiss joined Lori as full co-owner of Mommy Perks. Mommy Perks is continuing to grow at a rapid rate.

We have welcomed the talented parenting expert Dr. Sally Goldberg as our resident blogger and we are busily featuring local and online businesses on our VIP Blog. Our members love tuning in to see who is being featured and to win some of the prizes being given away. Members can also check out our Ask Emma blog for practical tips and advice.

With so much going on, we have something to please every MOM…and even some dads (smile).
